Custom Stand Construction Guidelines & Rigging Guidelines
If you are planning a custom-built stand (space only participation) or would like to install a hanging banner or eyecatcher, please carefully review the guidelines below before starting your design.
All stand constructions must comply with the official Jaarbeurs Stand Building Regulations – Halls 3 & 4, available in the Downloads section.
Design Approval
All custom designs must be approved by the organizer before construction.
Please submit your final design and technical drawings no later than May 1, 2026 to:

You are free to appoint either one of the official contractor or any stand builder of your choice, provided they follow all regulations.

Hanging Banners & Truss – Height Restrictions Hall 3
Due to hall layout and technical limitations, minimum clearance heights for hanging banners and eyecatchers differ per stand location.
Please refer to the floor plan below to identify the zone in which your stand is located.

The measurements below refer to the distance from the floor to the bottom of the hanging element.
These clearance heights apply to all suspended elements, including hanging banners, truss constructions, and eyecatchers above the stand.
All hanging elements require prior written approval from both the organizer and Jaarbeurs.
Main Construction Rules (Summary)
- Maximum stand height: 5.0 meters (excluding approved hanging banners)
- Standard wall height: 2.50 meters
- Walls higher than 3.50 meters must be placed at least 0.5 meters from any aisle
- Back walls facing neighboring stands must be finished in neutral white up to at least 2.20 meters, with consistent finishing quality up to the maximum built height
- All visible stand surfaces must be finished to the same quality as the front façade
- Openings for video walls or LED screens must be properly sealed
- Multi-level stands are only permitted for stands of 50 m² or larger, subject to written approval
- All constructions must remain within the marked floor boundaries
Technical and Safety Notes
- Maximum floor load: 2,500 kg/m²
- Heavy machinery or equipment must be pre-approved and clearly indicated on the layout
- Fire hose reels, sprinklers, and emergency exits must remain fully accessible
- Vehicles displayed on stands must contain minimal fuel and have the battery disconnected if no immobilizer is installed
