Magnus Pettersson has been in the pet food business since 2005, he works as Director of the Pet food division within the Snellman Group, a family-owned Finnish meat and food production company. In the pet food business Snellman operates three brands, MUSH, Fodax and Paw for Paw.
Magnus studied Meat technology at the University of Helsinki from 2000-2004 and worked one year in Snellman Meat Industry product development before he joined the pet food start up in 2005. His education and expertise in meat industry gives a strong knowledge in the raw material process which is the key factor in producing products with little processing like raw frozen and freeze-drying.
Milka holds education in animal husbandry and nutrition, MSc in Feed Manufacturing technology and 17 years of experience from recognized animal/pet/fish feed and ingredients companies from Norway. For the last 7 years Milka is working within industrial product development developing applications for new ingredients and modern pet formulations. Milka is entrepreneur, technologist and nutritionist, within the field of pet nutrition and technology. Director of Nordic Pet Food Events AS, company arranging conferences, seminars and workshops in the field of pet nutrition, technology and ingredient procurement match making.
Since the year 2000 Dr. Sabine Artelt is the managing director of Micro Tracers Services Europe GmbH (MTSE GmbH) situated in Germany. She has studied analytical chemistry at the university of Hanover until 1993. Her first job was to write Environmental Health criteria documents for the International Programme on Chemical Safety of the World Health Organisation, Genf. From 1994 to 1998 she was the head of the analytical department of Inorganic Chemistry of the Fraunhofer Institute for Toxicology and Experimental Medicine. From 1999 to 2000 she worked for a Technology Transfer Institute “Bayern Innovativ” where she submitted EU projects for small and medium sized companies. She was part of the “Technology Marketing” group who gave support to especially small companies to take part at exhibitions. Dr. Sabine Artelt is married and has 5 children. If she is not working or caring for the family, she likes to dance, do yoga and read books
Robert Sunderland is the Director of Dryer Technology for Wenger Mfg. He is a graduate of Kansas State University holding Bachelor of Science in Grain Science. Robert has been with Wenger for 30 years and has served in various roles. He holds four process patents and works closely with industry leaders designing and implementing concepts for commercial drying applications for the Companion Animal, Aquatic feed and Human Food industries.
His current role at Wenger oversees design and process engineering of the dryer division. In doing so, he works closely with clients and Wenger sales engineers defining projects from concept to commercialization. He has had the opportunity to visit many factories in 43 countries developing commercial solutions and personal friendships.
Dirk Gering is sales manager at Tietjen Verfahrenstechnik in the north of Germany and responsible for sales, market development and projects.
He has a degree in Process Engineering from the University of Applied Science in Hamburg and more than 18 years of experience in bulk material handling. He was responsible for sales at a well-known manufacturer of screening technology for almost 12 years before joining Tietjen in 2016. At Tietjen, he added the knowledge of milling to his experience in the field of influencing particle sizes.
His work is focused on developing efficient and customised grinding solutions that meet the highest demands for fineness and capacity - mainly for animal feed like compound feed or pet food. Most of his clients are located in Europe and North America.
Lynn Verstrepen is the head of the Product Management department at BESTMIX® Software. This department focusses on widening the understandings of the business needs of our niche markets and engaging with all stakeholders. As the nutrition industry faces enormous challenges, being innovative is key to maintain market positions. At BESTMIX® Software we explore industry trends and evolutions, offer adequate and innovative solutions, incorporate them in our products and apply them in practice. Increasing efficiency in the chain and providing support to producers is key to the BESTMIX® Product Management department.
Lynn earned a bioengineering degree in environmental technology from the University of Ghent in 2011. For 10 years now, she has been working with software for nutrition industries. She currently lives in Oostkamp, Belgium with her husband and 2 boys.

The 6th Annual Aqua Feed Extrusion Conference, International Aquafeed and Fish Farming Technology magazine and Dr Mian Riaz of Texas A&M University is once again taking place June 1, 2022 as part of Victam International and VIV Europe 2022. This rendition of the conference will specialise in extrusion and the related equipment for aquatic feeds. The one - day conference will feature a variety of industry expert speakers delivering innovative presentations on how users can make the best use of their extrusion machinery and aqua feed systems. Marcel Ramseyer, 39, Swiss and Dutch citizen, is head of business segment pet food for Bühler since January 2020. He has been with Bühler since 1998 and got to know the company from the bottom up, first in various positions in project management, then in marketing- and product management, followed by leading the Consumer Food and Value Nutrition R&D department at Bühler Bangalore / India during a two-year stay abroad. In 2016 he took over the management of the marketing & service department within the business human and animal nutrition. He holds an executive MBA in general management and international marketing and a CAS in Leadership.
Igor Milanovic holds education in Agronomy, MSc in Feed Manufacturing Technology, and has 10 years of experience within the feed and food process industry. For the last 7 years, Igor has worked in international sales of Forberg products, focusing on the Asian and Australian markets. Igor is a technologist specializing in mixing, vacuum coating, powder granulation, powder drying, and steam heat treatment processes.
Frank has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Commercial Management. He speaks several languages, fluent in Dutch, German, French and English. Frank has two decades of experience in helping customers identify their needs, working with engineering to ensure compliance and efficiency of solutions, and helping justify ROI to ensure customers are comfortable with cost justification. He has spent his time introducing new technologies and building long-term relationships in the industry.
He has two sons and resides in the Netherlands, passionate about cooking, whisky, and Formula 1 racing.
Willibrord Woertman studied food technology and started his career in the dairy industry where he worked for almost 15 years in various management positions at Coberco and Campina, later Friesland Campina Dairy Foods. Became independent in 2005 and started a company that focuses on project management in the food industry. Learned a lot in these years in the field of large international turnkey projects where technique and technology came close to each other. These experiences brought him into contact with Selo and this resulted in a shareholder and CEO position in 2012 and helped him to further develop Selo into a major supplier in the international market of turn key food and pet food processing equipment.
Ole Jan Myhre has his education in Chemical Engineering in Norway and Packaging from Brunel Univ. and has worked in the plastics industry since 1986 in R&D, Technical service, application and market development at Statoil, Borealis and now Norner. Most of this time Ole Jan has been dedicated to film extrusion and flexible packaging.
Ole Jan took part in the management team who established Norner AS in 2007 – Norner is a Global market leader of industrial polymer R&D services based in Norway where we operate an advanced technology centre for development and testing.
